How to Report

📝 How To Submit A Report

1. Select report type from dropdown menu at top
   • - For hail: Select size or describe if larger than 5"
   • - For damage: Briefly describe what you see
2. Take Photo/Video using the capture button.
3. Download Photo/Video to attach to your tweet
4. Swipe left to open text panel
5. Copy text to post on Facebook or X

📸 Taking Good Photos/Videos

• Landscape orientation - Hold your phone horizontally for a wider view
• Include reference objects - Use trees, buildings, or poles help show scale
• Clear view - Avoid capturing photos/videos through windshields if possible

📍 Location Accuracy

• Report Buddy automatically fetches your coordinates
• Swipe right to see detailed location information
• If reporting something distant, estimate location in 'Extra Context' text box

🚫 What NOT to Report

• Regular rain or non-severe thunderstorms
• Lightning (unless damage occurs)
• Gusty winds without damage
• Dark clouds without rotation
