Landscape orientation - Hold your phone horizontally for wider view
Include reference objects - Trees, buildings, or poles help show scale
Clear view - Avoid shooting through windshield if possible (pull over safely)

• Use a ruler or coin for size comparison in photo
• Measure the largest stones you find
• Report time hail started and stopped

Tornado - Visible funnel cloud touching the ground with rotation
Funnel Cloud - Rotating funnel-shaped cloud NOT touching ground
Wall Cloud - Lowered cloud base with rotation under storm base
Hail - Report anything quarter-size (1") or larger
Wind Damage - Trees down, structural damage, power lines down
Flooding - Water over roadways, swift water rescues needed
